Service description

Reverter scans web content and proposes accessibility remediations via three surfaces (VS Code Extension, MCP server, CLI). Fixes are applied to source code via unified diff; Reverter does not run a runtime overlay (Patent A IC4 source-code-only constraint).

Acceptable use

• Scan only properties you own or are authorised to scan.
• Free tier: ~100 fixes/month/user; no commercial resale.
• Open source repos: unlimited free use.
• The MCP server is intended for use with the developer's own AI agent; do not relay tool calls to third parties without their consent.

License

The OSS surface (@ariada/codemods, @ariada/core-engine Tier 1 path, @ariada/mcp, @ariada/cli, the VS Code extension shell, this marketing site, and the GitHub Action wrapper) is published under Apache-2.0. The hosted cloud LLM proxy, the app.reverter.ai dashboard, the per-tenant audit-log infrastructure, and the compliance report templates are proprietary commercial offerings.

Patent grant

Reverter is patent-pending under USPTO 64/030,762 (Patent A, provisional, filed 2026-04-06). The Apache-2.0 patent grant in §3 of the open-source license applies to contributions to the work itself; it does not extend to derivative-or-combination uses that fall outside the open-source surface.
